There's so much to do! The Columbus Oktoberfest isn't just about beer and sausage (though they are delicious). The festival is packed with 3 days worth of Events. Listed below is information on everything that's going on: entertainment; Kinderplatz area; Marketplatz (Art & Crafts & Commercial); Bier Halls & Wine Gartens; Vier Meiler / Brat Trot (4 miler) run and walk race.
Mt. Carmel Kinderplatz area
For the little Oktoberfesters! The Kinderplatz area has become a wonderful tradition at Oktoberfest. Activities, entertainment, arts and so much more: this is where kids and families have a celebration all their own! Inflatable bounces, giant double slide, kiddie carousel, trackless train rides are all free! A 32' climbing wall for children and adults is $5.00 per climb. Jugglers, magicians, accordionist and Cosi on wheels will be there too!

Bier Halls & Wine Gartens
OK, so this really is the star of the show! Come celebrate with an Oktoberfest beverage in the company of your friends, family and community. We have 3 Bier Halls (with live stage entertainment) and a Cabaret Stage, each with its own flavor and atmosphere. Try them all!
Nationwide Vier Meiler (4 miler) run and walk race
A new tradition begins! M3S Sports is known for world-class races in world-class cities. So we've signed up with them to provide a classic 4-mile race that's sure to be a hit. Click here for more information and to register.

Breaking of the Pretzel on September 20th
The official “Breaking of the Pretzel” will take place in front of Schmidt's Restaurant und Sausage Haus at Noon on Monday September 2oth.
